I’m Dave, AKA Phrenzey. Thank you for checking out my page here on the web.

 
I grew up in Indiana, where I learned various instruments like violin and trumpet. I moved to New England in my early 20’s and eventually took up filmmaking as a hobby. During my time as a filmmaker I began to work with synthesizers and creating music in DAW’s like FL Studio so that I could make custom soundtracks for my film. This rekindled my love for music and I eventually gave up on filmmaking to focus on my music.

 
In 2016 I moved back to Indiana and took up my childhood nickname of Phrenzey (actually it was Frenzy back in the day, based on the Transformers character, but too many artists use that name so I changed up the spelling).

I now live out in the country with my wife and our son, who was born in July  of 2021, along with my cat Sylvester.  At my day job I work for the same university where my late father (thanks COVID) was a professor. I’m so proud to follow in his footsteps by working at the same university, even though it’s not in the same capacity.
